What a foam monument sign is
A 3D foam monument sign is a freestanding sign with a sculpted body, a base, a cap and dimensional letters or a logo. Architectural foam monument signs use a high-density EPS core with a polyurea hard coat, so they resist moisture, UV and cracking, and they can be built over a steel or concrete foundation designed by your engineer. Foam core allows deep relief, curved shapes and large panels that would be heavy and expensive in stone or concrete.Where they are used

Directory signs, post signs and dimensional signage can be designed as a set with the monument, so a property has one consistent system for exterior signs.Design and installation

Lighting options include halo-lit letters, ground uplights and LED accents. Wind load and the foundation are specified by your engineer, and our drawings include the fixing details. Foam sections are light and can be delivered in pieces and installed with a small crew.Planning a monument works best when design, code and foundation are considered together. We provide scale drawings showing the sign face, the base and the lighting, which can be used for permit submissions and by the foundation contractor.
