Outdoor LED signs
Outdoor LED signs only work when the structure around the display is as reliable as the display itself. Royal Foam Art Design builds the monument, and our LED partner installs the display inside it, so you receive a complete, assembled sign instead of a screen on a bare steel pole.
What makes our monuments different
The core is high-density EPS, CNC-cut with cavities for the digital display signs, ventilation paths, concealed wiring raceways and service access. A polyurea hard coat then seals the signage monument against moisture, cracking and UV. Compared with masonry, the shell is far lighter, needs no deep foundation work for the body of the sign, and can follow your drawings rather than a catalog profile. Engineering accounts for ASCE 7 wind-load requirements, which matters in coastal and high-wind zones.
Where they are used
Pylon signs for business parks and retail centers, entrance monuments for communities, and electronic sign boards for hospitality all benefit from a custom shell. A led message sign can carry promotions, hours or alerts, while sign lighting and finish are matched to the building. Schools and congregations choose the same approach for school digital signage and digital signs for churches. Pole signs can be replaced with a monument that looks permanent. Matching stucco, stone or brick textures lets the sign belong to the property rather than stand apart from it, and a clean base keeps the display at a comfortable reading height for drivers and pedestrians. Owners receive one finished product, with the display already mounted in the monument.
Illuminated signs and LED signs for business can be built as custom outdoor LED signs. Programmable LED signs outdoor suit retail and offices, and outdoor LED church signs suit congregations. The monument shell is made to your size and architectural style.
Planning your order
Tell us the display dimensions, single- or double-sided layout, site conditions and any wind exposure. We confirm the design, fabricate the monument, have the LED display installed in it and deliver the sign fully assembled.
How it works
- Consult: share display size, location and wind exposure.
- Design: we draw the monument around your display, with finishes that match the building.
- Fabricate: EPS is CNC-cut with cavities and raceways, then sealed with polyurea.
- Assemble and deliver: our LED partner mounts the display in the monument and the finished sign ships to you assembled.

FAQ
What is the difference between a monument sign, a pylon sign and a pole sign?
A monument sign sits on a wide, low base at ground level. A pylon or pole sign is raised on one or two supports for visibility from farther away. Many sites replace a pole sign with a monument to get a more permanent look.
What are outdoor LED signs made of in your system?
The monument body is high-density EPS, CNC-cut with cavities for the display, ventilation and wiring, then sealed with a polyurea hard coat that resists moisture, cracking and UV.
Is the LED display included?
Yes. Our LED partner installs the display into the monument, so you receive the finished sign fully assembled. Tell us the display size and type you need and we include it in the quote.
Can the sign handle high winds?
The structure is engineered with ASCE 7 wind-load requirements in mind, which is important for coastal and high-wind zones. Share your location and exposure so we can design for it.
Can the monument match my building?
Yes. Finishes can imitate stucco, stone or brick, and profiles, caps and bases follow your drawings, so the sign belongs to the property.
Do I need a permit for an outdoor LED sign?
Requirements for size, height, brightness and setbacks vary by city and county. Check with your local authority early and share the dimensions with us so the design fits.
Is this suitable for schools and churches?
Yes. A changeable message display in a monument is widely used for school digital signage and digital signs for churches, to post schedules, events and announcements.
What should I send to request a quote?
Display size, single- or double-sided layout, site photos, wind exposure, preferred finish and any drawings or logo files.
